How is a SAG-AFTRA franchised agency different from a licensed talent agency?

All talent agencies in Florida must hold a state talent agency license (CFT: TA# 498). SAG-AFTRA franchise status is an additional, union-regulated credential that allows an agency to represent SAG-AFTRA union members and coordinate bookings on union productions. It requires ongoing compliance with SAG-AFTRA regulations on contracts, commissions, and talent relations.
